A corporate-style 127-room late-20th-century 4-star hotel located just west of the Central Station and within easy reach of most sights, this Mercure (formerly the Leopold) is gracious and contemporary without being too pricey. No gym, but there's the lovely Stadspark right across the street, with views from many rooms. Changed from the Carlton to the Leopold sometime around 2009, then to the Mercure in 2019. Refurbished in 2022. A Darklands Official Host Hotel March 2023, 2024 and 2025.
