Cock (aka CockTails & Wine)

A buzzy wine and cocktail establishment with a racy name, opened in March 2022 by Thomas and Nico, who run Café Twilight immediately next door [see entry]. Quality drinking's a big thing here, but the kitchen produces Spanish-influenced sharing platters and a few main courses throughout the day. Coffee is also an option. Mostly attracts a male clientele in their 30s and 40s, while at weekend daytimes this stretches in both directions to accommodate the general public who've arrived for the local Theaterplein market. As of March 2023, a DJ is features every second Friday. And the occasional leatherman passes through here. Official name = 'Cock'. For certain unsurprising reasons the bar also goes by 'CockTails & Wine'.
