Froufrou Paris comes to Antwerp
Riding the wave of the early-21st-century obsession with pretty-pretty Paris-style macarons, Antwerp opened its first outpost of Ladurée – the 19th-century French purveyor of these melt-in-your-mouth meringue-based confections – in early 2013. The shop is pastel-perfect, with its greens, pinks and lavenders, sky-painted ceiling and droplet chandeliers capturing the essence of the light and sumptuous macaron.
