Antwerp's premier sex shop was started in 2001 by fashion designer and tailor Marcel van der Voort, who'd previously created for RoB and whose attention to detail and quality is unrivalled in Antwerp. Located ever so centrally on a quiet street at the edge of the Historisch Centrum, near Het Eilandje, Toys4Boys still sells pieces of leather and rubber gear, but it's now harnesses, sex toys and accessories that dominate, especially with a new generation needing not only cheaper items but also, for the vegans among them, new materials. As of 2023, leather and rubber are marginalised, making room for new additions such as the Breedwell range. The warmly lit, brick-walled and beam-ceilinged ground floor space is dense with consumer sex durables, while more gear hangs in the atmospheric brick-vaulted basement. AKA Toys 4 Boys.
