Middle Eastern excellence
Popular establishment serving fresh, delicious and home-made Middle Eastern specialties, with some of the city's finer falafel, hummus and shawarma/shoarma (doner kebab). The Israeli-born owner opened this warm, comfy and rustic-feeling restaurant in 1981, passed it on in 1990, then took control again in 1999. Recommended and very central (just around the corner from the cathedral). Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
