Serious cup of coffee

Along with Caffénation [see entry], this is where it's at in Antwerp coffee-wise. And savvy microroaster Jens Oris knows what he's doing. He moved to this very central, glass-fronted corner location in September 2011, having started three years earlier elsewhere in Antwerp. Oris previously served coffee by the afore-mentioned Caffénation, but now roasts his own beans; in fact the machine is tucked in the corner of the same space fitted with sofas and chairs where customers hang out, read, write and get their arabica buzz. Coffees are sourced and served as filter or in espresso-based drinks. An Antwerp institution.
