A modern collection of international artworks since 1970, M HKA took over a 1926 granary in 1987. Refurbished in early 2017, resulting in a free-access permanent exhibition space (from April 2017), featuring "works of the museum’s reference artists, contemporary heroes, historical pioneers and tasters from the museum’s worldwide collection". The southwestern location is conveniently close to the photography museum [see entry] and many fashion-orientated destinations. Closed Monday.
