't Verschil (Closed Permanently)

(1 Rating)
Books, videos, undies and cake
In Dutch, 't Verschil means 'the difference', and what distinguishes this from other LGBT bookshops is that in addition to books (fiction, cultural theory, queer studies etc) it sells videos and sex toys. In 2011 underwear shop De Onderkant moved in to share the space. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Opened in 1996 by current owner Bart De Smedt. Closed November, reopened November 2016 as Boekhandel Kartonnen Dozen in Draakstraat 34 [see entry].
