Sababa (Closed Permanently)

(1 Rating)
Middle Eastern excellence
Popular establishment serving fresh, delicious and home-made Middle Eastern specialties, with some of the city's finer falafel, hummus and shawarma/shoarma (doner kebab). The Israeli-born owner opened this warm, comfy and rustic-feeling restaurant in 1981, passed it on in 1990, then took control again in 1999. Recommended and very central (just around the corner from the cathedral). Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Sadly closed forever September 2017.
