Mabuhay is located in the southeastern corner of the city in lovely, quaint and arty Zurenborg, just a minute from the beautiful art nouveau concentration of streets around Cogels-Osylei and seconds from the excellent gay Café Den Draak [see entry], on the ground floor of gay organisation Het Roze Huis (The Pink House). The name 'Mabuhay' is an expression of welcoming and good will in Tagalog – a language in owner Eric's native Philippines. Closed 2014.
