The Stonewall Riots may not be forgotten. Even within a gayclub in New York in 1969, you could not feel safe. The police often came in and arrested people violently. But one night, the LGBT customers fought back, which marked the start of the LGBT movement: 'here we are, out and proud'. Until today, that's the whole idea of a Pride. And that's why we will be partying not within, but in front of Hessenhuis.
