Popi Café (Closed Permanently)

(7 Ratings)
Riverfront gay café-bar
Popular straight-friendly gay daytime/night-time café-bar located in pretty Plantinkaai overlooking the Scheldt river. The terrace, open from spring until autumn, is a major draw. The establishment's grand dame, Pipi von Popi, claims "If you feel gay you're Popi!". Sadly Popi clossed its doors in January 2016 after struggles with the brewery-owner and the government, plus other factors.
